Pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce were spotted leaving a gym in Los Angeles on Friday, where they reportedly hoped to spend some private time together.
The couple, who have been dating since September 2023, looked fit and happy as they walked out of the fitness center, holding hands and smiling.
Swift, 33, wore a black sports bra and leggings, while Kelce, 34, donned a gray T-shirt and shorts. They both wore sunglasses and face masks, as per COVID-19 protocols.
According to a source close to the pair, they decided to hit the gym together before Kelce had to fly back to Kansas City, where he plays as a tight end for the Chiefs.
“They wanted to squeeze in a workout and some quality time before he had to leave,” the source told PEOPLE. “They are both very busy with their careers, but they always make time for each other when they can.”
The source added that Swift and Kelce are “very much in love” and “support each other’s passions”.
Swift, who recently released her 10th studio album Red (Taylor’s Version), has been a regular fixture at Kelce’s games, cheering him on from the stands.
Kelce, who is preparing for the playoffs with the Chiefs, has also shown his support for Swift’s music, attending her Eras Tour concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in November.
The couple made their first public appearance in September, when Swift attended a Chiefs game alongside Kelce’s mom, Donna, who is a big fan of the singer.
Since then, they have been spotted on several occasions, including at a Halloween party, where they dressed up as Shrek and Fiona, and at a Christmas Day game, where Swift’s brother Austin joined them dressed as Santa Claus.
Swift and Kelce have also met each other’s families and friends, and have received their approval.
“Their families are both on board and everyone on Travis’ side loves Taylor and vice versa. It’s a supportive dynamic all around. Their loved ones have never seen either of them so happy and hope and believe that it will continue,” another source told ET1.
Swift, who was named Time’s Person of the Year for 2023, revealed in her cover interview that she and Kelce had a “significant amount of time that no one knew” about their relationship, which started after he “very adorably” mentioned her on his podcast2.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she said.
