Lil Wayne has revealed his pick for the greatest hip hop mixtape of all time — and it's not one of his own.

The rap legend, who is widely regarded as one of the best mixtape artists ever, praised Future and DJ Esco for their 2015 project 56 Nights calling it the "greatest mixtape ever" in a conversation with 2 Chainz

The two rappers, who have collaborated on several songs and albums, including ColleGrove and ColleGrove 2 sat down for Complex's "GOAT Talk" series, where they discussed their favorite albums, artists, and moments in hip hop history.

When 2 Chainz asked Wayne what he thought was the greatest mixtape ever, Wayne didn't hesitate to name 56 Nights, which was inspired by DJ Esco's 56-day incarceration in Dubai.

"I'ma say 56 Nights, Future," Wayne said, adding that he didn't need to explain why. "You know what it is."

2 Chainz agreed that 56 Nights was a "classic", but he also mentioned three other mixtapes that he considered to be the best: his own T.R.U. Religion Wayne's The Dedication and Jeezy's Trap or Die. All three mixtapes were hosted by DJ Drama, who is known for his influential Gangsta Grillz series.

The two rappers also shared their opinions on other topics, such as the best rap album of all time, the best rap group of all time, and the best rap producer of all time. They also talked about their upcoming projects, including 2 Chainz's Dope Don't Sell Itself and Wayne's I Am Not A Human Being III.
