The Brown family, known for their reality show “Sister Wives”, has been going through some tough times in recent years. Kody Brown, the patriarch of the polygamous family, has divorced three of his four wives: Meri, Janelle, and Christine. He is now only married to Robyn, his youngest and most favored wife.
However, despite the drama and the distance, the Brown family came together to celebrate the wedding of Christine Brown and David Woolley, a drywall business owner based in Utah. Christine, who announced her engagement to David in November 2021, had a beautiful ceremony in the mountains, surrounded by her children, siblings, and friends.
One of the guests who was especially happy for the bride was Gabriel Brown, Christine’s son with Kody. Gabriel, 22, called the wedding the “wholesome” reunion the family needed.

“For the first time in a long time, it felt like the real Brown family was back,” Gabriel told the cameras during a Sunday, January 14, episode of Sister Wives: Christine and David’s Wedding special. “It felt really wholesome.”
Gabriel also said that he was proud of his mother for finding love again and moving on from Kody, who he described as a “toxic” influence on the family. He said that he hoped his mother would be happy with David, who he praised as a “great guy”.
The wedding was also attended by Kody, who said that he was happy for Christine and wished her well. However, he also admitted that he felt “left out” of the festivities and that he missed his former wife.
“I’m glad that Christine has found someone who makes her happy, but I can’t help feeling a bit sad and lonely,” Kody said in a confessional. “I still love her and I wish things could have been different between us.”
Kody also said that he felt awkward around his other ex-wives, Meri and Janelle, who he had not seen in a long time. He said that he felt like a “stranger” in his own family and that he wished they could be more “cohesive”.
The wedding special also featured some drama between Janelle and Erin Su, one of the contestants on the reality show “Traitors”, which Janelle and her son Maks participated in. Janelle and Erin had a heated argument over the elimination of Marcus, another contestant who was Janelle’s ally on the show.
Janelle accused Erin of being a “backstabber” and a “liar” for voting out Marcus, while Erin defended herself by saying that she was playing a strategic game and that Janelle was being “paranoid” and “delusional”. The two women exchanged insults and threats, while Maks tried to calm them down.
The episode ended with a teaser for the next episode, which will show the aftermath of the wedding and the fallout of the family’s breakup. Kody will face some backlash from his children, who will accuse him of being a “bad father” and a “selfish husband”. He will also have a tense confrontation with Meri, who will reveal some shocking secrets about their relationship.
