Christina Aguilera is back on stage with her Las Vegas residency, but she is not alone. The pop star was joined by her biggest fan and supporter: her nine-year-old daughter Summer Rain.

The 43-year-old singer shared some adorable photos of herself and her daughter on Instagram on Wednesday, showing their bond and excitement before the show.

In one photo, Christina and Summer Rain posed for a selfie, with the mother-of-two giving a kissy face and the little girl smiling brightly. In another, they hugged each other in Christina's dressing room, which was decorated with flowers and balloons.

Christina looked stunning in a glittery stage costume, featuring a plunging neckline, a high slit, and a feathered cape. She completed her look with a sleek ponytail, dramatic eye makeup, and red lipstick.

Summer Rain, who is Christina's second child and only daughter with ex-husband Matt Rutler, wore a black T-shirt, jeans, and a pink headband. She also sported a pair of headphones to protect her ears from the loud music.

Christina captioned the post: "Backstage with my biggest fan 💕 #XtinaVegas"

The Grammy winner kicked off her Las Vegas residency, titled Christina Aguilera: The Xperience, at The Venetian resort on Saturday. The show features some of her biggest hits, such as Genie In A Bottle, Dirrty, Beautiful, and Lady Marmalade.

However, not everything went smoothly for Christina, who revealed on Thursday that she has fallen ill with the flu and had to postpone two of her upcoming shows.

She wrote on Twitter: "Hey Fighters - I was just informed I have the flu and, per doctor's orders, I need to reschedule this weekend's shows in Vegas. I am so sorry and I'm working on rescheduling these dates ASAP. I promise to make it up to you and give you the best show ever. Love you guys so much. XoXtina"

She also shared a video of herself apologizing to her fans and thanking them for their support.

"I'm so sorry to disappoint you guys tonight and Saturday night. I'm just not feeling well," she said. "I'm just really bummed about this. I love you guys so much and I hope to make it up to you soon."

She added: "Thank you for all your love and support. You guys are the best. I'll see you soon. Xoxo"

Christina's Las Vegas residency is scheduled to run until April 2024, with dates in January, February, March, and April. Tickets are available on her official website.
