Lynne Njihia, the fiancee of comedian Eric Omondi, has opened up about their relationship status and family plans in a candid Q&A session on Instagram.

The mother of one, who welcomed her daughter Princess Kyla Omondi in August 20231, revealed that she is not yet married to Omondi, but they are engaged and planning to tie the knot soon.

She also dismissed the rumors that Omondi has other baby mamas, saying that she is the only one. “No, I don’t. He doesn’t even know, he doesn’t. I’m the only one. Mimi ndio niko,” she said with a chuckle2.

Lynne also said that they are not in a hurry to have another child, as they are enjoying being parents to their five-month-old daughter. “For now, mother of one, daddy of one PERIOD,” she declared2.

She also addressed the issue of their 19-year age difference, saying that it does not matter to them, as they are more of friends and besties than lovers. “I believe that love is love, haina limit, haina gender, age, love is love,” she asserted. “If you love someone, date you. It doesn’t mean it won’t work out if there is an age gap. I can say Eric and I are more of friends, more of besties, hiyo ndio imefanya tufike tuu saa hii. We are equal, supporting each other,” she said2.

Lynne and Omondi have been dating since 2022, when they met at a comedy show. They got engaged in February 2023, after Omondi proposed to her in a romantic Valentine’s Day surprise3. They have been sharing their love journey on social media, with Omondi often praising Lynne as his “queen” and “soulmate”.

The couple has also faced some challenges, such as losing their first baby due to a miscarriage in 2022. Omondi shared an emotional video on Instagram capturing the pain and sorrow they endured during that trying period4.

However, they have overcome the tragedy and are now happy parents to their adorable daughter, who they have not yet revealed to the public. Omondi has said that he will only show her face if he gets 50 million shillings from his fans, a move that has been criticized by some as exploiting the child for financial benefit5.

Lynne, however, seems to be unfazed by the controversy, as she continues to share glimpses of her daughter’s hair and feet on her Instagram stories. She recently described her daughter as her "greatest blessing this year"1.
