Just days after Jennifer Lopez was photographed house-hunting in Los Angeles, rumors are swirling that Ben Affleck is also on the lookout for a new home. Sources tell Page Six that there’s buzz in real estate circles about Affleck’s search for a residence in the City of Angels.
The “Argo” actor was recently spotted driving his sports car in LA’s tony Brentwood neighborhood, where TMZ reported he left a house where he’d been staying overnight. Interestingly, photos also showed Affleck, 51, wearing his wedding ring as he dangled his left hand out of the window.
Affleck and his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, both have ties to the Brentwood area. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez, 54, was also seen looking at properties in LA, although insiders insist she was merely searching for an investment property.
Rumors of trouble in Bennifer’s paradise began when Lopez attended the 2024 Met Gala solo last week. A source told TMZ that Affleck’s absence from fashion’s biggest night was due to his busy filming schedule for “The Accountant 2” across the country.
Despite the divorce rumors, Affleck and Lopez were recently spotted together in public for the first time in over a month. The couple attended a school production for one of Affleck’s children, but according to the Daily Mail, their interaction was “frosty,” with no hugs or kisses exchanged.
Affleck and Lopez previously purchased a massive $60 million mansion in Beverly Hills in June 2023 after two years of house-hunting.
