Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone is selling her stunning 1920s home in Los Angeles for $4 million, nearly double the $2.3 million she paid for it in 2019.
The La La Land star bought the property from fellow actress Rachel Bilson, who had owned it since 2012. The four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom home is located in the exclusive Westwood neighborhood, close to Beverly Hills and Century City.
The Spanish-style home features a red-tiled roof, arched windows, and a gated courtyard with a fountain. The interior boasts hardwood floors, beamed ceilings, fireplaces, and a gourmet kitchen with marble countertops and stainless steel appliances.
The master suite has a walk-in closet, a spa-like bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the backyard. The outdoor area includes a swimming pool, a spa, a fire pit, and a covered patio with a built-in barbecue.
Stone, who won an Academy Award for her role in La La Land, has been busy with her career and personal life. She recently starred in the Disney film Cruella, which was released in May 2021. She also welcomed her first child, a daughter, with her husband Dave McCary, a former Saturday Night Live writer, in March 2021.
The couple, who tied the knot in September 2020, also own another home in Malibu, which they bought for $3.25 million in 2018. It is not clear why they are selling their LA home, but it is likely that they are looking for more space and privacy for their growing family.
